Pages: 40

Date of Publication: January 2014

This report presents highlights of Medical Insight’s first annual THE Aesthetic Practice Survey. The respondent cohort to this survey closely reflected the composition of global aesthetic practices, as about 60% were core practices (dermatologists and plastic surgeons) and most were small, with less than five employees, fewer than 30 aesthetic patients per week and revenues under $1 million. Expectations for the next 12 months are optimistic, as more than half of respondents plan to expand staff in 2014, expect rising practice revenues and profits, and predict higher patient volume. New technologies, equipment and services remain important for many aesthetic practices although injectables continue to generate the most revenue and profits….
